Project #52
I have been blogging for more than 5 years now but the frequency has decreased so much since I joined the rat race. Even more when i took to tweeting. So I’ve decided to adopt Project 52 as my pet project this year!
Knowing myself, i wouldn’t be able to keep up with Project #365, so I am going for something more achievable.. at least a photo/blog per week!
#1 – First Wedding of the Year. Congrats to my first ever roommate during my student life.

#2 – Brits Cousin, Australian Niece visiting. Last night visit to TwinTower just for the sake of the touristy photo. teehee..

#3 – My dad’s uber cool birthday cake. My dad is cooler than your dad! ha!

Had such a lovely weekend. Went on little dates with MrSmallface, dad’s birthday with my big family and ending the night with a good hearty sessions with the rowdy people welcoming William back.
This week started hard but more focused. I like how things are going now.
2010 – Just Another Year?
The question was directed to me a few days ago by a dear friend who loves have a good “debate” with me and also ask difficult questions!
*I procrastinated so much on this post that it is now alreadt 2011.. T__T
Anyway, it is the time of the year where everyone are reflecting and trying to come up with better resolutions next year.
2010 really flew by without much realization and surely filled with travel for me. It started off with plenty of friends and food. Hair was lightly brown and middle length.

Phone is still at the bottom of the pile. Now, 90% of my family member uses blackberries and it’s the best purchase of year 2010.

When to Melaka with the rowdy bunch followed by a drastic haircut for me.

I wrote a post on a wishlist as of that time which seem relevant. I’ve actually achieved some of it *proud* By the end of February, with my bowl haircut, I explored Singapore with MrSmallFace, Wanyean and Gisele.

Although I’ve been to Singapore a couple of times prior to that, I never really visited the famous places. Just headed to whatever I’m there for and headed home. It was a very nice trip especially to Wala Wala Cafe! Once back, I’m very much less wise as I took out 3 out of the 4 my wisdom teeth.. One of the best decision this year as no more toothache. So damn glad.

In April, the situation in Bangkok got really bad and they burnt the Central Mall :( But the most fun part was when the rowdy gang made a roadtrip to Cherating – Kuantan over labour day

Attended the first wedding from the rowdy gang. Moved to a new family home in Penang with a heavy heart after living in the small but much love place for 15 years. When genting impromptu to watch Khalil Fong concert for free!

Went Johor for the first time, and Cherating again for work. Followed by anniversary trip with MrSmallface to East Malaysia for the first time. Then to Langkawi, Melaka and Penang again. My uncle from Taiwan visited Malaysia for the very first time, surely, it’s a family event not to be missed !
After I fake a shocking short hair which almost everyone believed, my AFY had it first major accident after being hit by an ice cream truck. What are the odds of that happening. Went for a road trip to Sepang Gold Coast and Sekinchan. Went Johor Bahru again! Somewhere in between, I attended Hard Rock Penang Hotel first anniversary party and get to stay at the deluxe room on the house! Woohoo!

Attended Suplex 10th anniversary, which also meant cutting off from any form of modern communication for close to 2 full day!! Almost died

Turn a century old after finally visiting Bali – the island of gods!! Highlight of the year definitely and returning next year again for another different experience. 5 days nor 1 trip is definitely not enough to fully indulge and experience the island.

Had a surprise birthday cake and family singing me “happy birthday” after staying up to wait for my return from KL on friday.. which I truly appreciate

Ended the year with visiting another new place, Batu Pahat. Otherwise, it was quite uneventful except it was packed with work and more work. Wrapping it up with few get together with the rowdy ones and looking forward to Chinese New Year many gatherings and food and fun!!

So to answer the earlier question, 2010 is not just another year. It had been an amazing year! My achievements in life are measured by experiences, so I had accomplished so much last year
)
What’s in store for 2011 ? A change for improvement in all matters I really hope. The only thing I resolve this year is to have more patiences and hold my tongue before firing
Very Happy New Year to All. It is after all, a reset button for all

A Quarter of a Century
Looking back at how I’ve been celebrating my birthday, things had mellow down a lot ever since. Guess birthday is not a reason anymore to get piss drunk nor I wish to be in that state anymore. ha ha ha …
I din’t even arrange any party or dinner. Finds that really weird of myself though 0_O Guessed I’m just grateful to be around and surrounded by loves one.

The only sad part is that MrSmallFace is in Penang while I’m in KL :(
Kopi Cine @ Stewart Lane
Let’s continue the journey of searching for yummy tiramisu and quaint little hide out in Penang
Photos are all from Raye’s camera which is my dream camera – olympus p-1.. I want……
Er, but this place I suppose is not really considered a hideout anymore as it is quite well-known among the local. My friends, family and I had been here few times before as i love the place and coffee! Latte ♥
What I love the most is that they allows the patrons to draw nonsenses on their table! Like this! ha ha!

Our view for the entire afternoon while chatting. P-1 camera so nais, can cry…

I was there actually to catch up with my dear ex-colleagues from penang company.
The long awaited photo of the crunchy yummy Kahlua- Tiramisu. The cakes and dessert are between RM16-18++ which is expensive if you rate is base on Penang standard. However, I don’t think the restaurants target market are locals. This is the place where most tourist would stroll by instead of locals who shy aways from the sun like vampires.

Crushed Lime and Mint Soda, RM10. Healthy Kimmie’s drink. I don’t know the taste, dont dare to try. Too green for carnivorous me

I had the Strawberry, Banana & Orange Fresh Frappe, Rm14. Very suitable choice for a hot afternoon.
A photo of us again, since December. 8 months it took to schedule a meet up.

Went there again 2 weekends ago with TeongLi and MrSmallFace for them to try the cake. The following photos by BB and lx3.
Certified by Teongli. Complete with shiny, starry eyes.. hahaha ..stupid..
A mahjong paper, a glass of Buncho crayons and boys missing their childhood = unleash their drawing skills.
