Since when is it OKAY to arrested people just gathering peacefully and even their legal representative? Does that make us any different from the less civilize/unfortunate countries?

Since when is it OKAY to let the mat rempit and snatch thieves roam the road freely because it’s difficult to round them up? When people are DYING because of them. And when people are dying, the people we help put into the cabinet to manage our country think the best to mange them is with rehabilitation/counseling centre. Set up with what? Our tax money of course, what else is new

Remember the case where the gang of mat rempit beat up 3 guy and a girl because they THOUGHT the car hit their friend? What is the verdict on that case??? Not to mention many forgotten cases…

Malaysian likes to forget. Doesn’t matter because it wont affect their life in anyway, except when the victim is them. When I was in UK, i see the news of little Maddie(the girl which got abducted) for a YEAR about Relentless help and updates. What about us? Remember Buscrashnomore? Why do i see Konsortium still active on the roads? Our lives mean nothing??

Since when is it OKAY to have 21 children when you have a crappy job and having a hard time raising them?? What is the Family Ministry(watever its called) doing about this? Isn’t this negligence?This is plain stupidity and irresponsible behavior.

When people wants pet owner to spay and neuter their pets, I think we need to spay that stupid man here.

Since when is it OKAY to shoot dogs? or break their neck? or throw them onto a deserted island to fend for themselves against flood, eagle and snakes?? We all heard of Dog Pawn, what about cats?? Can’t we at least be fair? They are after all, living and breathing beings. Don’t you think that whenever there’s a NO PETS sign, it would be a dog?

Why not a terrapin or sugar glider (i think ppl keep them as pet) Why don’t dogs have freedom here T__T I envy those europe country where pets are treated equally although there’s still some sicko around.

It’s great being able to blog about my thoughts. It’s been too long i suppose. Been blogging mostly on mundane and happy stuff like ” WOW! The food is Greattt!”

I just had a FULL-FILLING weekend away in KL, meeting up with DivaLisa, TeongLi and dearie LadyCowmoomoo~!This is after all, a foodie blog. ;P

We “rise and shine” fairly early on Friday morning to play mahjong with LadyCow and eat KFC =.= that’s like 830AM..

Actually the real purpose to raid the Zara Warehouse sale But mission aborted when we saw the madness there. Damn, defeated even waking up so early. So we went around window shopping while the boy kept asking “when can we go ikea? “”when can we go ikea? “”when can we go ikea? “”when can we go ikea? ”

Girls: Oh, didn’t you know today is our day?
Poor boy: Then what about tomorrow?? when can we go ikea?
Girls: Tomorrow is bangsar boutique raid day!! None of the time is slotted for you *giggles*

Hahahah..anyway, after poor boy mops around for a bit, we being the ever nice girls, let him to ikea just for a bit while we find chances to take potential future house decor pichas

Then it’s chow time!! We tried pasta zanmai for the first, not for LadyCow of course.I’ll say its worth the price and a nice fusion too…hmm.. We had the set menu which has 2 dishes per set. We almost couldn’t finish all even those sharing among 3 of us. The whitish thingie is called Spring Egg which i notice was added into most dishes. The one in the bowl taste sweet and salty and it’s cold but it’s delicious if you are able to take half-boiled egg.

Dinner at Williams @ Taman Mayang. I know how many people will scrunch their nose when I mentioned this place due to their infamous hygiene level, but hey, what you don’t know won’t hurt. And, tell me which mamak doesn’t have rats running around?

The next day was MrSmallFace nightmare day!!! Because he had to follow us explore the many boutiques in Bangsar hahahaha Before that, I had lunch with DivaLisa at somewhere near Sunway Damansara. I shall call the char siew place as M&M because it melts in your mouth. YUMMEH! but i did not take any photo*bad blogger*

We also stumble into Wondermilk! And i almost bought a lomo but it’s out. How can?!?!

At Alexis(again!) in the same day but this time at Ampang to meet up with Pomchak and several friends. It was my first time attending their jazz set and it’s great! We wanted to order the tiramisu again, but it’s out! How come the things i want is out again!!!

In my first post on the pan mee, i mentioned that they served up damn fast. However, seems like the news had spread far and wide on this hidden gem. We had to wait over 45mins for our mee :( 7 bowls for 4 people. hahahaha

That ends our KL trip and begins the nightmare to Cameron Highlands (CH). It was a long winding way up with orang asli selling tongkat ali at the roadside. They were really happy and contented with what they have huh…

Boh Tea Garden, not the Kea Farm one..rather a new and nicer one We find that the people are much friendlier and tolerant here. Maybe it’s due to the cool air and holiday mood, who knows. Start taking obligatory group photos…

It was so bad we abandon our car and walk all the way up from somewhere after Strawberry Park to Kea Farm!! Do you know how far is that? I don’t….but it’s hell faster than sitting in the car increasing our carbon prints! the 6 of us, walking by the roadsides under the drizzle with cold wind blowing non-stop.

It wasn’t that cold to be honest. But i saw people wearing beanies, gloves, jackets and scarfs as if they are enduring winter whilst I’m dressed like this!

KUALA LUMPUR (AFP) – Malaysia‘s conservative Islamic party has called for R&B sensation

Rihanna to be banned from performing here next month, saying her outfits are too sexy, a report said Wednesday.

The Pan-Malaysian Islamic party (PAS), which has mounted protests against the United States over its support of Israel, said that concertgoers would also contribute to an outflow of local currency to the United States.

“Whether Rihanna realises it or not, we know that the taxes she has paid also contributed to the war in Gaza,” Kamaruzaman Mohamad, a PAS youth wing leader, told the Star daily.

Kamaruzaman said that the show planned for February 13, part of Rihanna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad” tour, would be an insult to Asian values as she often performed suggestively and wore skimpy outfits.

The event was “akin to insulting Eastern culture, belittling local artistes, internationally causing losses to the country’s economy and supporting Israel’s war policy, which is supported by America,” he said.

Kamaruzaman urged authorities who issue concert permits in Muslim-majority Malaysia to reject the organiser’s application.

The concert’s sponsor told the daily that Rihanna has agreed to follow local regulations for her performance but did not give details.

US singer Beyonce scrapped a planned concert in Malaysia last year due to fears of protests, while Gwen Stefani went ahead with a performance but was forced to cover up after complaints about her outfits.

PAS also mounted protests against Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne‘s concert last year after failing to have it banned, saying her performance would weaken the younger generation “morally and mentally.”

Seriously, they have too much free time in their head spinning connections and stories just cut off Msia with outside world. Do you really trust this kinda person leading you towards a better future? Morever, foreigneirs will fly to Msia to watch the concert. If Rihanna goes Singapore or Jakarta, please don’t tell me there won’t be any Malaysian flocking to our neighbouring countries? They are bringing more harm to us more than anything.

Desmond-T had already done a fabulously write-up on our experience, so hop over for a very information-pack post on it. I, on the other hand, will just note down those more memorable stuff on my own blog.

It was an early Saturday morning for all of us. Sg.Sedim is indeed a very “ulu” place. Well, not ulu, how to sustain the natural green environment nowadays? After about an hour of drive, we finally reach the place. Sleepy face everyone.

We decided to water raft straight away as it will take us around 2hours. Empty stomach here we go~

I wanted to chicken out at first because everyone’s has been telling me how dangerous and life threatening the sport is. Plus, I do not want to turn up at the dinner i was attending in the evening with bandages and plaster all over. Definitely not~ But i end up joining the guys~ and damn, am i glad i did.

It was an adventurous, and exhilarating experience. Prior to our adventure, we need to have the water confidence test. Heheh..Photo photo la dulu kan.. not everyday we get to take photo in lifejacket and helmets.

The whole journey was driven by the adrenaline pumping within us. This is the most dangerous drop we encountered. Elbow Falls. Level 3.5/4. To estimate the height of this waterfall, you see the guy standing on the rock? He’s about 1.7m so you do the math!! Pretty high up huh! and it’s like we need to freefall from there.

Anyway, my point is, in spite of the level of danger we are facing, i noticed that I still have not lost my sense of lenses pointing towards my directions.

At the end of the day, no one was injured at least seriously. And we had the greatest fun together. I’m terribly proud that i went through all this. When i got back, only did i know that Sg.Sedim is actually fucking dangerous. Like Christal knew 3 people that hit their head while rafting because of how the rocks are =.=

To be frank, what is there to celebrate?

Except for the glorious food that the various culture has brought us and another public holiday and reason to party. Maybe because our country has always manage to be in the headlines in foreign papers, for the wrong thing. 50 years of independence and we still have people thinking the way way a world class performer dresses is obscene.

Can we truly love a country that most students choose not to go back to when they graduated from oversea academic institution? Even if they do go back after graduating, most of their first choice is to go over to our developed neighbor instead of our forever developing country.

This blog was never meant to be heavy on political issues; and so it shall not be. Just think about what exactly you are waving that small flag for?

Tonight, is just another reason for us to get the one and only merdeka baby drunk and mission accomplished!
