Last month I traveled to Koh Lipe which is a small island but getting more attention of recent years. So before it get destroyed or more commercialize, i decided that I have to go!
Penang > Hadyai > Koh Lipe > Penang
We stopped in Hadyai for 1 night because ACS hasn’t been there in his adult life so we will show him around. Also, we decided this would be a take-our-own-sweet-time trip. We left Penang at 8am, and first time passing border so swiftly. Checked into New Season which my Thai friend kindly helped me to booked.
This would be the first trip MrSmallface went on with ACS and my first trip with him since London almost 5 years ago.. (it’s such a pity all my older post photos are all gone.. I used to link them from Facebook  so sad its now a small box with dead link )
We were debating whats for lunch and decided on Sizzler @ Lee Garden. It’s not Thai Food, in fact it an American chain. I’ve been there once and it’s really good. For about RM20++ per pax depending on what’s your main, you will have access to the appetizer and dessert buffet spread. I’m especially happy that they have bacon bits and really good salad, or you can make your own salad with their awesome selection. I used to be a pure carnivore and despise any sight of greens among my platter, but as age is catching up and I’ve came along some scary/thought-provoking articles online more and more, I’ve been trying to include some veges in my diet as best as i can. So the bacon bits and cheese and dressings are sooo encouraging. sorry got carried away -__-
For the rest of the trip, we went on doing the usual in Hadyai which I’ve blogged about. The things-t0-do are pretty much standard for ANYONE who goes to hadyai, really. Except I found out that the night market (ASEAN trade market) near the bus terminal are open on Thursday as well.
