Wild Boar Curry Mee @ Kuantan
Before I go into the above topic, let me get something off my chest first.
Inception was ingenious!! I won’t mind watching and rewatching it again as it’s seriously pure mind fuck!
If you love watching movie, GO WATCH IT!
If you only choose to watch certain genre of movie, GO WATCH IT!
If you dont watch movie at all, just GO WATCH IT!
The point is
GO WATCH IT!
I want to fall into a limbo~ rock it~
~the end~
Sometime early this month, I was dispatch to Kuantan for work purpose. My boss is such a foodie, it was actually quite nice going on trips with him because he’ll be able to bring me to unique places to savor local delights.
As mentioned in previous post, I’ve so much good spots to share in the suburbs of Malaysia but I’ll start off with this. Simply because it’s not everyday you get to see my taste Curry Mee
This one especially are served with Wild Boar meat that is just so tender!! The noodle used are not the usual thick yellow noodle, instead it is kind of “flat” ? Like thin ruler…he he.. nice
I had the small bowl without the veges. Don’t dare to take the photos of Boss’s bowl
It’s really rare to be able to try wild boar meat that are tender. Good! And the place operates in the middle of no where. In a small shack next to a field. That’s my boss, ignoring me, enjoying his meal
It cost less than RM12 for 2 glass of iced Milo and 2 bowls of noodle. Rest assure, the normal bowl portion are much bigger hehe..

Swan Restaurant, Kuantan
One of the most ask question when one visit places like Kuantan, Cherating is ” WHAT TO EAT?”
Many will be skeptical that places apart from Penang Penang and Penang can offer any yummy dishes.
But the one is wrong!!!
How can that be? In the small city of Kuantan, actually lies a very yummy dish of Claypot Milky Prawn.
This place was recommended to us by MrSmallFace’s colleague, and he only recommended 3 dishes and 3 dishes is all we ordered…. (plus a not-up-to-standard at all “Sai Yong Choy Thong” )
Therefore, if you ever go Kuantan, YOU SHOULD TRY THIS 3 DISHES!!
The Handmade Square Toufu
The Claypot Milky Prawn which is the ultimate bomb of the trip!! The concoction of the milk and cream and seafood just blends extremely well together. This dish is what you define as fingers licking good

Last but not least, The Amazon Thai Asam Fish. The portion is so generous we name it the fish from Amazon river
That’s all for now. Stay tune for next update…soon… -___-
