Every now and then, I will read Jason Mraz blog (Surprise! I don’t read it everyday! ) Reason being, it’s too heavy/wordy for office browsing and I would have very much prefered to read it when I’m recollecting my thoughts at night.

It had never stop to amaze me how inspiring, and amount of love he projects each and every time he writes. I don’t know, but he’s simply an incredible guy who does what he preach. Do you even know a “celebrity” or just someone in the entertainment industry walked for 4 days with 2 fella to see the fallen Macchu Picchu?

Okay, most probably you would think I’ve a bias vision of Mraz -__-  Another good blog to read is quaintly.net She’s young, cute and writes pretty darn post.

So 2009 is about to end in a few days TODAY! and it’s a whole new year again. How could time passes so fast?!

Before that, Merry Christmas and A Happy blessed new year to you… I had my Christmas eve’s dinner at a pasar Malam with Desmond-T and Speng followed by Gossip Girls at home. How did you spend yours?

**Okay, I really don’t have the time to blog these day but lady luck smiled on apple4today for bringing down my office system, so basically I have nothing much to do now! Wohoo! **

A quick check on last year new year resolutions, I’m happy to say I kinda manage to achieve it all! hahahaha..

My first quarter of the year, I traveled to Adventourous Krabi and that already tick off the first new year resolutions! ha!

It would be nice to go back in the future minus all the kayaking. Probably more lazing around the town area and more speed boat rides!!

Come march, I met my curbside prophet once again I was so so happy that I manage to attend the concert despite the pathetic venue and horrible air ventilation.

Set off on a road trip to Genting and  Bukit Tinggi for the first time and realize it’s REALLY nothing there wan.. It was a memorable trip as nothing was prepared except booking a room in genting at the very last minute. I love spontaneous trips!

This year alone, I welcome my  white angel, diana qing hua and also the expensive but super powerful  Lx3 into my every growing camera family And with that I vow not to get anymore digital camera for at least 3 years unless some really bad misfortune befall unto my lx3. Also put a stop temporarily to my analogue cameras.. This will be resolution #1.

In June, I blogged about how i shed all the weights I gained in UK due to popular demand wtf.. Am proud and happy to say I’ve not gain back all the weight *yet* although i’ve received remarks from friends that I’m too skinny for my own good. The phrase “skinny”, “thin”, “bony” nor “slim” was never associated with me before so I don’t really mind being called any of it … HAHAHAHHAAH ..

Attended the most wedding dinner in a year for my entire life!! I guess I’m already at the stage/age where people around me are settling down.

First it’s Chrnsz…

Then my best friend’s wedding, Autumn dear... which was a blast!! We had so much fun. I guess anyone will when their close friend throw such a grand party.. 

Followed by my ex-team leader in previous company..

And the latest and craziest of the bunch was from just 2 weeks ago. Haven’t got the photos yet but no doubt the one where everyone had most fun. Important contributing factor was all the groomsmen and bridesmaids was sooo sporting. Not to mention the bride…

In the midst all that, I manage to switch job, got myself relocated back in KL after almost 2 years.

Stayed in Bangkok for 2 whole weeks in a studio suite all to myself which was totally awesome!!

Came back from Bangkok, started my new life/job in KL. Unknowing to many, went Jakarta for 5 days to have some great food. Visited some semi-dead volcano..

Celebrated my birthday just the way I’ve imagines.

Whiz pass it all, here I am, the last day of 2009. Just a few more hours until I get to go off work and laze at home. Hmm, according to the above, I guess I did had a very good year.

I hope that next year would be even better since I will be a quarter of a century old by then wtf.

Surely I’ve missed out jotting down something.. but what the heck, it will be a entirely new year, a clean sheet to start off in merely a few hours.

#4 Knowing that Christmas is so near. It’s my favourite festive season of all mainly because of the songs and deco. I know I’m chinese but I really don’t like the loud tong tong tong chiang!  I love winter as it makes everything looks so beautiful, minus the extreme cold night, wouldn’t mind that much if there’s someone to snuggle with hmm.. I know ChoonSeong would be laughing or disagreeing with me already. But i also love winter clothing because can cheat guys with the thickness, they canot determine whether I’m fat or thin  HAHA!

Too many year end means holiday season..Too bad for me, not so much long holidays because since working, “long holidays” no longer exist in my dictionary

#5 Jason Mraz new Beautiful Mess – Live on Earth CD. Today especially when it rained so so hard on the way home from work, I had this CD blasting through my car flimsy speakers, while feeling so protected inside my “milo tin” car against the harsh storm. I’m always happy to have any Jason Mraz’s songs playing while I’m driving.. It actually feels serene to be siting inside the car while the rain splash away.

#5 The photos from my lx3 Still plenty to learn. But all the above photos are taken with lx3 except for Jazz’s. So nice isnt it!! No editing done at all except for resizing.

#6 On Friday night, me and the usuals went to Changkat Bukit Bintang. First time for me and I feel so comfortable there! The place is so nice and plays the right musics. My era music.. -__- It does help that the crowd here are more matured (shit! ) and the place is open area therefore, no smokey hair the day after!!

I’m happy and glad that the couple who (although it’s so cliché but still i’m gonna say it) so meant to be together allows me to be there on their special day. hehehe. As what duckie say, “It’s the differences that makes the relationship interesting”. I wish the both of you much happiness

ps: this post is so random. Actually if I can channel my thought when I’m driving home from work everyday into blog post directly, then you guys will have plenty to read! hahhahaha

Anyway, i went back to Penang last weekend. Very last minute plan.. Decided to go back on Friday morning itself -__-

The story with wagyu beef. We initially ordered the sukiyaki but then with my family, 1 plate of beef is not enough. So we ordered another serving and chomped it all down. Then BrotherPoh suddenly say “Hmmmm the beef is good, taste milky”  which we all retorted must be the soup la, this and that.

When the bill came, the single serving of beef is RM70!!!!! 0_0 The waitress then educate us that they only serve wagyu beef. So accidently, we all tasted wagyu beef..hehe. Total damage is for dinner is > RM400. thanks to DivaLisa

To make long story short, we did not know we had wagyu beef until the bill came -_____-

Like what i got from the email today, 100 frogs started to jump up a flight of stairs. Bystanders, kept shouting poison words like ” you can’t make it” Stop dreaming”. Slowly one by one gave up..because they believed what the others are perceiving. Except for one..who succeed. Why only 1 out of 100 succeed?

Since when is it OKAY to arrested people just gathering peacefully and even their legal representative? Does that make us any different from the less civilize/unfortunate countries?

Since when is it OKAY to let the mat rempit and snatch thieves roam the road freely because it’s difficult to round them up? When people are DYING because of them. And when people are dying, the people we help put into the cabinet to manage our country think the best to mange them is with rehabilitation/counseling centre. Set up with what? Our tax money of course, what else is new

Remember the case where the gang of mat rempit beat up 3 guy and a girl because they THOUGHT the car hit their friend? What is the verdict on that case??? Not to mention many forgotten cases…

Malaysian likes to forget. Doesn’t matter because it wont affect their life in anyway, except when the victim is them. When I was in UK, i see the news of little Maddie(the girl which got abducted) for a YEAR about Relentless help and updates. What about us? Remember Buscrashnomore? Why do i see Konsortium still active on the roads? Our lives mean nothing??

Since when is it OKAY to have 21 children when you have a crappy job and having a hard time raising them?? What is the Family Ministry(watever its called) doing about this? Isn’t this negligence?This is plain stupidity and irresponsible behavior.

When people wants pet owner to spay and neuter their pets, I think we need to spay that stupid man here.

Since when is it OKAY to shoot dogs? or break their neck? or throw them onto a deserted island to fend for themselves against flood, eagle and snakes?? We all heard of Dog Pawn, what about cats?? Can’t we at least be fair? They are after all, living and breathing beings. Don’t you think that whenever there’s a NO PETS sign, it would be a dog?

Why not a terrapin or sugar glider (i think ppl keep them as pet) Why don’t dogs have freedom here T__T I envy those europe country where pets are treated equally although there’s still some sicko around.

It’s great being able to blog about my thoughts. It’s been too long i suppose. Been blogging mostly on mundane and happy stuff like ” WOW! The food is Greattt!”

I must have bottled up all my anger all this while…pheww… Please don’t arrest me. I still have a dog to care at home. I’m just a normal girl expressing her view on how she sees things she listen from the news.

Shit, it’s 1248AM. I’m suppose to do something else. So fail -_-||

Well aware that the concert was over for more than 2 week. People had been asking and wondering why there’s none post on this from me. No fret, here it is!!

We(Kimmie, Kurt, Me and Mung) set off early in the morning(930am=.=) heading to KL with passion, stopping at iPoh for breakkie. I did not have much as i was so sleepy due to the excitement that made me sleepless the night before

Upon reaching KL, we were quite lost around Masjid Jamek area as none of us are familiar with the location of Stadium Negara. Finally we got there, park our car and took the monorail to Pavilion for lunch. My lunch is just a plate of salmon sushi and some ice cream. Yummy ice cream but too sweet for my liking. Expensive too!!

Then it’s MRAZ TIME!! Was sleepy all throughout the day but i was bouncing all the way back to the Stadium.We were there considerably early. 5plus and there’s already a small crowd building. I met another Mraz fan there all the way from Manila, Meg who went to HK and SG show as well. She was waiting there since 2pm anticipating the throngs of people waiting outside like Singfest. Well, she had finally learned that we Malaysian have our own timing system here

The waiting area was humid, no proper line formed. People were just shoving and cutting lines when the gates were finally open at around 7plus. We were herded into specify zone like sheeps =.= and the wait starts again!

The ventilation for the venue SUCKS! It’s was stuffy, humid and hot. There where even very inconsiderate people smoking behind us. There were only industrial size air conditioning(bearly enough) and mist fan blowing into certain people face. It was very badly organized. A few comments i saw in the forum left was negative as well for organizers and this will leave bad impression to Malaysia as these people flew all the way from the countries.

Another query is that, why was the organizer playing some other people song over and over again while we were waiting and NONE of Jason Mraz songs =.= *annoyed*

Jason Mraz finally came out at around 830pm i think, and the frenzy begun!!

No doubt, no question, no surprise here that Jason Mraz and his SuperBand, did an amazing job in entertaining and getting the crowd going. For me, I think the peak of the concert was when he sang The Remedy. It’s a personal favourite due to the story behind and the vibe the song has. Whats with the medley of Wonderwall *siiighh*

The crowd went insane!! WE went insane ourselves. You notice me holding onto the barricade. Yeah, I got dizzy and was about to faint. BUT NOT IN A MILLION YEARS, i will allow myself to faint and miss out this concert! I was squatting for about 2-3 songs and enduring the kicks the fans that lost controls of themselves :S

During the song Lucky, Jason started the songs without Penny Tai because she’s late and Jason had to send someone to get her *the HORROR* how embarrassing it is!! The crowd sang a verse or 2 before she finally came on stage. The song would be much better without her anyway.

Anyhoo, there’s a part where Mraz started to chew something in his mouth. We were wondering where in the world the “food” came from. Turns out, it’s the Invisible Gum! I can’t find any video from Malaysia for this quirks of his, but this is one example.

When the concert finally end, we were drenched with sweat. But the feeling like we were high on coke were inevitably there. We yearned for much more from him, but too bad, that’s all he can offer. I consider myself lucky, yes again that he dropped by Malaysia. The way he performs, the small ways he used to entertain the crowd is very similar as what he had performed previously in Singfest or from those i watched from Youtube i.e. Im Yours + babbling.. but it works with the crowd every single time. In a way, he’s fair to his fans around the globe..hehe

We waited with the crowd for him to come out of the stadium. The stadium was old and the tour bus was too easy to spot. I love the part when one fan started to hum a tune from “I’m Yours” and the whole crowd burst into a singalong It made me felt like I’m not alone in loving this special artist.

T’was a cold Christmas for me last year but not a white one as I hope. Yet, it was definitely memorable as I feast on the traditional Christmas meal with my host family in UK and the craziest time with the Hongkies later at night. I’m walking in a winter wonderland.. which will not happen again this year.

A warm Christmas I’ll have this year together with the guys just like before. Just minus my dearies seasons as they need to spend time with respective partner and family.
