Chinese New Year holiday all packed into 1
Hmm.. Short one on chinese new year 2010 although its already mid march now -__________-
I was very sick on the first day of CNY. I think my body engine overheat due to the mad weather. Worse part of the whole ordeal is i had to miss the morning session of meeting the family and driving around Penang looking for clinic…!!
I still manage to get abit of extra income although I’m sick. Prettiest ang pow packet I’ve seen/received so far in my life. From DivaLisa.
Meeting up friends from high school has been a tradition for me and my group of friends since 2001 ? My goodness, it has been nearly 10 years i’m around these bunch of brats 0__0
Without needing to really inviting or arranging, people will just turn up at the fixed venue yearly.. And since its an all day event, people come and go…and come back again for more if they are in a winning streak
This year was especially fun as everyone was anticipating the first married friend to come over! hahaha.. Can’t wait to get our hands on the ang pow!
and this year was full of surprises as well. ALOT of long lost friends suddenly just turn up and had a really long, good and hearty conversation all night long. It is very rare to have such huge group of people who still comes together once a year without fail.
Although we are all approaching mid twenties, seems like we have not lost our youthfulness at all
I love chinese new year as its time where everyone will be back in Penang and making catching up on the year that past so much easier…
Fore seeing next year would be an even rowdier one as more friends will be back/graduating from oversea…

Mr.Strong and what’s not..
One of the scene modes in LX3 is pinhole. Which i love!!!! ♥♥♥
The colors are not vibrant. Most of the time they look ghostly.
why do i seem to like ghostly looking photo? Beats me.
Mr.Strong Tees i bought for Mr.SmallFace and my twin ! No progress for both of them also.

Me and Mr. Strong Smallface at favorite hang out place in penang.

I seem to go here quite often nowadays. Almost every trip back to penang, somehow I’ll end up here … turning supersitious or just better pray then be sorry later… ekekekkeke

My Diana First roll
I finished the first roll faster than expected. Got a few expired 120mm expired film online. Cheap at @RM7 per roll ahhahaha!
But bearing in mind the film are expired, the result will turn out very funny. Hmm. I used the square format and 12 shots. Most of the frame turn out quite blueish, not sure what causes that. However, I’m quite please with the result as I’ve expected the first roll to be a total disaster from what I read online. Some even had the whole roll just blank!! My guess (and many too) is that they left their lens cap on -__________-
No pinhole setting. Some frame i forgot to wind the film hence weird outcome. And I also constantly forgot to check my focus and aperture. Noobie mistake
First ever shot turns out very weird and its dizzy to even look at. Skipping to second frame, featuring BrotherPoh. Double exposure on semi cloudy day. My favourite from the whole lot

Oktoberfests ‘09
‘Twas a great and fun weekend back in Penang last weekend.
It was a well planned event! We bought the tickets when we knew the dates. Lucky for us as the ticket was sold out!! Alot of people went anyway without any tickets and left disappointed (i guess!! )
I can’t recall needing any tickets last year though. I do remember that the crowd was twice the size! Good for Penang! Bunch of jolly good people. Saw so many of the usual face there, the people who you usually see when there’s some event happening.
Me and raye even saw our ex Financial Director!! The good looking Jon C. hahahaha
It was also a long awaited, off schedule hen party/post birthday party for our Autumn Girl!

Apple4today, New Bride and LadyCow

LadyCow was saying boom boom POWWWWWW! (or something like that ) hahahha
No idea why all of them are balling their first -__-

LadyCow dont give a damn. Drinking away. Where is your sensitivity to the lens girl?
Desmond finally joined us very late into the night and just for awhile. While looking for last year post, i saw his comment to “count me in” this year! hahahah

It was a great night. Truly believe everyone had a fantastic time too. Let’s book ourselves for another round next year!!

And I believe it had been a long long time since I blog almost immediately about something. hmm.. keep it up! *pat self on back*

Kapitan @ Chulia Street
Thaipusam just passed. I idiotically drove on on the height of the celebration with the motive of trying to sell off some of my old books at some indian store. Hence, I was stuck in the insane jam for an hour…without getting anything done(the shop are closed) fearing that the coconut will get thrown at my direction and worse part, hungry!!
In conjunction with the celebration earlier on last 2 weeks, Mr.SmallFace, BrotherPoh and Me decided to have tandoori for dinner. Obviously, we headed off to the best tandoori place in town which is Kapitan Restaurant. I’ve tried several Kapitan branches but i still feel that the one at Chulia Street is the best. DivaLisa brought me there long long time ago when they were still operating in a small modest shop behind the bus stop.
I noticed a small stall on the roadside next to the shop. BrotherPoh explains that they have very nice cow milks. Like very fresh. So i decided to go take a look at what the guy was stirring in a wok… It looks like he’s mixing some potion. It was actually just Badam Milk (Almond Milk). Pure cow milk that is boiled with grinded almond, cashew nuts and raisins.
Being the greedy girl i am, i ordered the milk although i already ordered Teh Ais. hahaha. Nothing to fear as i have with me 2 bottomless pitt
It was abit sweet but definitely fresh. I would have another one any given time. but it’s kinda filling too..
Me, gleefully awaiting my meal!!
Then i couldn’t sit still and went over to see how they make my naan. Making sure no funny business in the kitchen..Hahaha..Good/bad thing they adopt the open kitchen concept yes ?The anneh handles the hot “pot” and skewer with great skill.
Meal: Tandoori with garlic cheese naan. At the side, some mintsauce, sweet sauce and curry. Very delicious.
Overall, the price is kinda steep(total bill >RM30) but it’s ok since we dont go there every day. Just once awhile to curb my craving
But then again, what is cheap nowadays?! Even the takotao in Jusco is $4.50 for 3 flour balls..
Well recommended.
